NIke Dunks

Yesterday, we showed you a Nike Dunk High that featured a mainly leather base combined with a mesh-like synthetic material. Those of you who commented, really took a liking to the multi-textured upper; however, we have spotted yet another Dunk High that possesses the same texture but in sort of a reverse makeup.

This Nike Dunk High, exclusively created for the women, owns a primarily speed yellow upper with the black mesh-like synthetic material on the side panels, collar area and toe box. If you recall, the previously-mentioned medium grey/royal blue Dunk owns the synthetic texture throughout the upper except on the side panels, collar area and toe box. Nonetheless, this Dunk also contains a white midsole, a speed yellow outsole and cool mint-colored shoelaces. Available now at SneakersnStuff.

Air Max 180

The Nike Air 180’s 2010 colorways have popped up numerous times in the past few weeks, and have begun to hit retailers, though only overseas at this time. Our international readers will love that these tow colorways have landed at Size?, and hopefully our stateside readers will soon be able to rejoice about them being available at their local spot.

Both pairs utilize the classic mix of white suede and durasheen for their uppers, with separate accent color combinations. The first utilizes a teal and orange combo, while the second pairs black and Cyber yellow. Many ‘heads are waiting on an Aquamarine retro, but without confirmation just yet, these two pairs may be your best options for a summertime Air 180.

Universal Works

Inspired by the blue-collar backdrop of his British Midlands hometown of Water Orton, David Keyte’s Universal Works is a nod to classic English workwear. This new 2010 Spring/Summer collection has already seen distribution expand into the US, Japan and Scandinavia, with plans for footwear in the near future. A bit more information behind the line is offered below.
“Universal Works” – It’s about good honest menswear, it’s about quality garments with a great fit. There is no great vision or message, no target markets, just garments for everyone, clothing to look stylish in because you the wearer makes it so, clothing you want to wear, clothing you will look good in.
After many years of working in the “fashion” industry we wanted to make something we were proud of, not over-designed, but well cut and craftsman-made, not mass-produced. From a background of great British working clothes and outdoor clothes, we use honest, natural fabrics and yarns, often using up dead stock fabrics that would otherwise be wasted. We work with highly skilled people in small factories who we have known for a long time and know what they are doing. They all make great quality garments, which is never the cheapest way to make stuff but we think it’s the best way.
