Tom Lane: Ginger Monkey

Jordan 6 "Infrared Pack"

News of a two-shoe Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” Pack puzzled a lot of sneaker collectors and fiends. With a confirmed White/Varsity Red coming this Summer and a recent February Black/Varsity Red release, the appearance of Infrared in the coming months is bittersweet. Still, some purists will be very happy to see these photos of both pairs in their OG-esque glory.

The black pair makes use of a suede upper, while the white ones rely on leather. We saw detailed pics of the black pair not too long ago, but this is our first look at the whites, which seem to have created more buzz with readers. As you would expect, all the signature features of the AJ6 are present, including the heel loop, icy outsole and mid-tongue lace cover. Stay tuned for more information on this pack as it arises.

In web world a few days is already old news. Although Sharon Wauchob showed her Spring 2010 collection in Paris this past October, and the web buzz for Spring is long gone. I had to take the time to feature her collection as I think it was among some of the best, but was not publicized majorly. Nicole Phelps of Style even writes: Sharon Wauchob is one of those designers who flies under the radar of most big editors but who gets plenty of respect from top retailers. “You get a lot of value for your money, and it looks special without being complicated,” said Sarah Rutson of Lane Crawford, the chic Beijing and Hong Kong emporium.
