Saturday Night Sinners and Sunday Morning Fakers

So allot of people are in the struggle right now its nothing new, but like I am in the struggle like I don't have a car, and let alone even shop for sneakers you all know I am a sneaker head. Its sad when the world has come down to your own church separating the wealthy from the non-wealthy. I went to church the other day and all the wealthy people were in the front and if anyone who is not KNOWN or doesn't have the correct funds has to sit in the back. I found some news about my pastor and like everyone has dirt on their pastor so I didn't place judgment on him or anything because even though he is a pastor he is still HUMAN people make it seem like hes supposed to be perfect but the only thing I don't like about my church is the fact that everyone is separated. When I talk to people they say oh yeah I'm going through the same struggle you are, just because you can shop every weekend and now have to shop every other weekend doesn't mean you are in the struggle. I see allot of people talking about God is not helping them, maybe if you be patient and follow the word and remain faithful you will get blessed. I go to church not every Sunday but enough, and when people ask me oh how is your relationship with God personally I think that is personal but I tell them I'm strait with God like you are with your mom your best homie your Dad your sister, your cousin, or the dude you buy your Kush from. I just want to voice my thoughts about people going to church and keeping everything truthful. I would rather you tell me you Have to much cash to struggle than to tell me you are in the struggle when in essence you really are not. Lets keep it 100.
I'm gone to infinity and beyond and Ill try to blog over the weekend.

Forgotten Ministries: This is for my Boy Levi Help Him Out!

Hey Guys, So the summer up at Hume is amazing and God is really doing some big things in our lives. He’s been rocking our worlds and has recently put it on our hearts to give instead of take. So often we get consumed with pleasing ourselves and not pleasing the will of God. I know for the three of us we have gone through life worrying about only helping ourselves and trying to win the approval of men instead of God. Galatians 1:10 says, “Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.” God has made it evident that we are not being the servants that we are called to be and that is why we have decided to start up a ministry to serve and help others. THE FORGOTTEN MINISTRIES is based upon Matthew 25:35-36, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” We feel that God Has brought us into each other’s lives to start this ministry and it’s something we can’t ignore. Currently, we are looking to fundraise money by selling wristbands and shirts we have created. The wristbands simply state the message “THE FORGOTTEN” to raise awareness for those that are in need of God’s love. The shirts are still in the process of being made but we wanted to give you guys a head’s up of what were doing. We are currently looking at starting with local outreach in our hometown’s and schools and seeing where God takes it from there. We ask that you keep us in your prayers as we start this ministry. If you have any questions or are interested in helping our vision become a reality please contact us at THEFORGOTTENMINISTRIES@gmail.com. Please help us to remind the world of those that have been forgotten. The HungryThe ThirstyThe SickGrace and Peace,Levi Peterson, Wade Batchelor, Geoff Shields

Shout out of The Day: Stevi Darden is Nice with the Pen and Paper

So like I haven't seen this talented woman in about 4-5 years lol, BUT I have always been cool with her at least from my side of the spectrum. We only talk through facebook and its usually a "hey nice post today" and that's about it but I give credit where credit is due and she has earned it. I read her blog because she gives a good insight from her perspective on issues and advice and stories etc. Her blog is dope and if you are a WOMAN you would like her blog more than mine because its kinda like form a ladies point of view but at the same time as a dude I can respect her thought process. Anyway please check out her blog and show her some love. The Link should be posted above this to visit.

P.S. If anyone that visits this blog please tell me what you have done lately or what talents you have so I can display them on my shout out of the day. Thanks! and I'm gone to Infinity and Beyond!

A teen Who Accomplished What Cristopher Columbus Couldnt Even Do!

A Southern California teenager has serious bragging rights: After docking back in his home state late Thursday morning, Zac Sunderland, 17, can claim to be the youngest person to sail around the world alone.

Zac Sunderland, left, is greeted on his return from sailing alone around the world.

Sunderland was greeted with thunderous applause and congratulations as he arrived at Marina del Rey in his 36-foot sailboat.
"It's kind of crazy to have it done now because, I mean, for the past year I've been just fighting for the next ocean, fighting to get back. And now I'm back so it's amazing," he said.
The teen admitted the 27,500-mile voyage wasn't easy. He told CNN in a one-on-one interview that pirates off the coast of Indonesia gave him quite a scare.
"[I] had a boat circle in and ended up calling in the coast watch and they chased them off but, yeah, [I] lucked out there! About an hour and a half of hell."
Severe storms also were a problem, he said.
Sunderland's personal Web site says he bought the boat with his own money. His parents had hoped he would find something that would spark a fire in him, a passion that would direct him away from all the negative and harmful influences that are so prevalent in society, but even they were stunned by the scope of his dreams and desires, it says.
He was 16 when he left Marina del Rey on June 14, 2008, aboard his boat, Intrepid. Solitude and exhaustion were just a couple of factors that faced him each day. "The hardest constantly was the tiredness," he said. "I mean, you get over the loneliness, but tiredness, it's an ongoing thing. Half the time I haven't slept in 48 hours and it's just hard to get enough rest."
Sunderland said he made some good contacts along the way. "It's interesting just thinking back to the different places in the world because I have so many friends in different parts of the world that are like family, you know, and all these different experiences," he said.
"It's an amazing year. It seems like yesterday that I was here but in other ways it seems like a hundred years."
So what's next? "Yeah, I don't know, just go chill with my friends," he said. "Go skate. Go do something normal for a change, you know."
