*Laughs at seeing Bruce Willis* Great Video.

Dont Drown

Sometimes I drown myself in others success. Its def not a good thing I start comparing myself like man why am I not successful and they are, or at least on their way. I try not to do it but I notice I do it unknowingly which is worse. You see people you went to skool with like on T.V. and puttin out things and I am like man that person was or always has been giving everything why cant i just be given the key. Im not perfect although I try to be the perfect human all the time, but I guess I just have to be patient and watch everyone else around me "blow up" first. My friend told me she was going to NYU to audition and I know shes gonna do well and I am proud of her shes on her way to being great in life, and Im like man I wish it was that easy for me. I just realized I am differnet at least when I finally do become successful it'll be worth it, and I will be able to be humbl eabout everything I achieve and all glory goes to God. So people out there dont sit around drowning your self in some elses success, do something yourself and make your self successful. Resuscitate your self and do what you have to do.

Amazing

I have to admit, I was pretty amazed when I came across this work. But then I was more amazed when I read that the designer was only 18. Dutch born, Rik Oostenbroek , may be young, but he’s got some mad skill already, and will presumably get better with time.
Although, it seems he emulates the hot style or trend going around in design right now, particularly seen amongst art groups such as depthcore and the KDU . No doubt, at some point this kid will find his place in the design universe. Natural talent, like his, will just mature over time, looking forward to seeing future projects a little further down the road. For now, take a look below for some selected pieces from his portfolio.

Nike Toki

Following last month’s release of the Toki ND Black/Volt, Nike has now made the medium grey/blue sapphire Toki ND available at select retailers including 21 Mercer Street.

The Nike Toki is appreciated and well-received because of its simplicity. With that said, this particular colorway undoubtedly follows the silhouette’s lead. Its base is smothered in grey nubuck and possesses white trimming in certain sections. The blue sapphire accents, seen on the tongue branding and line design above the white sole, give this shoe a nice, contrasting color scheme. As stated earlier, you can puchase a pair at 21 Mercer Street. Is this one of the better Toki colorways to date?

May I pease have these.

Phresh

Mary Katrantzou created quite a stir with her perfume bottle collection last spring ‘09 however, as much as we like her novelty , we also know that highly graphic clothing runs the risk of looking repetitive and of course getting knocked off . Sara Mower said it best: ” Her problem, rightly anticipated, is that novelty quickly becomes cliché—and a cheap T-shirt dress on a market stall. To keep things interesting, Katrantzou knows she has to do something more sophisticated than a placement print on a shift dress.” As much as we can see the risk she runs into with her collection, we hope this is will not be a precursor to its end…Imgs via vogue.es.
