Shout out of The Day: Matthew Lai aka Matty Lai

Here is My boy Matt Lai He attends Azusa Pacific University and he plays Ball, Baseball and he is Nice with glove and Bat. He is from Norcal and he is trying to play Major League which I think he will because he works Hard and is Dedicated to the sport and most of all he loves the game. So I will be posting his success story as we move along in life so it will be like a live documentary on Matty Lai. Below is what he sent me to post up and I copy and pasted it so you all can see how Real it is and this is not fake. We don't do fake things on this blog. I like the quote at the end of this message.

That would be sick. Well I got invited to play for a Semi Professional baseball team called the Mudcats. The team consists of former major league baseball players, collegiate baseball players, and Minor league baseball players who want to eventually play major league baseball again or for the first time.I get to be around players who have had the chance to play in the Major Leagues and they give me insight that helps me out alot. I don't get to see alot of playing time but when i did i hit 2 homeruns this past weekend against the EastBay Lumberjacks. It was crazy. Im the youngest player on the team. Since i dont get alot of playing time being a rookie, I have to make the most of my opportunities. I mean, with the Mudcats you have to bring it 100 percent everyday because there are major league scouts at every game. they have a website. Solanomudcats.net check it out! They have alot of stuff on the website but they haven't updated it in a while.which sucks! But other than that nothing to good has happened, the next big thing has to me the Major Leagues, but that wont be for along time. The Mudcats invited me to play again next summer and i wont be called THE ROOKIE any more. And But as for right now During the Boring summer I work out every day with Trent Fuller, who was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 42nd round. He currently plays baseball for UNLV and This guy taught me everything there is to know about the game! We both went to Fairfield High School together, and we are both looking to pursue our dreams at the BIG SHOW!I have a quote that i live everyday by. "Talent gets you to the door, but hard work gets you through it."
