Through Luke Smalley's photos we see a trio of young women primping and preparing for some big event, taking care to get it just right. Then they jump into the car and drive off to see their beaus. The guys happen to be in jail, however, and the Sunday drive doesn't seem so carefree any more. Neither side of this coin looks very good. Or does it, given that these pictures are oh-so-attractive.

Sunday Drive runs through December 19, 2009 at Clamp Art in New York. The exhibition is in memory of the artist, who died unexpectedly in May 2009
